Mission Statement

THEATER FOR A NEW GENERATION is a non-profit organization that dedicates itself to bringing great stories by the most exciting storytellers - past and present - to life. We strongly believe that the actor brings an immeasurable and unique history to the writer's lines, and we want our shows to arouse, provoke and inspire our diverse community.

Brevin Ismail, who plays the role of Lil Davy, is extremely proud to be joining the cast and crew members of Mel William’s acting program: Theater For A New Generation. Brevin lives in Queens with his family and attends LaGuardia High school for the Performing Arts. He is in 10th grade and loves all forms of the arts. Brevin first appeared in a middle school play at the age of 12 as Augustus Gloop in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Brevin also enjoys modeling and has continuous singing training experience. Brevin would also like to thank all of his family and friends for all of their love and support. He also thanks director Mel Williams for allowing him to enjoy this valuable experience. Brevin will be continuing to work with Mel and his fellow cast members to produce more New York hit plays like this one.
